“…rapid identification of immunization coverage gaps:” $400M nationwide injection database passes House with 5 Florida Republican YES votes
A bill (TEXT HERE) that would provide $400 million to help the Federal government track data on what it terms immunizations passed the House Tuesday (Nov 30).
The Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021 would expand information sharing between Federal and state agencies and healthcare providers on immunization records.
It would “support rapid identification of immunization coverage gaps” and “facilitate complete population-level capture, consolidation, and access to accurate immunization information.”
Fifteen U.S. House representatives from Florida, 10 Democrats and 5 Republicans, voted YES (click for vote roster here).
Eleven Florida House members, all Republican, voted NO.
